Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using TripPing, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms apply together with the TripPing Privacy Policy, the TripPing Location-Based Service Notice, and any applicable Apple, Google Play, App Store, device, or platform terms that govern distribution, billing, or device-level functionality.

You may use TripPing only where you are legally permitted to do so and only on devices you own, control, or are authorized to use.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of trip participation, location-based features, alerts, media uploads, and safety workflows complies with applicable privacy, surveillance, consumer protection, communications, workplace, and criminal laws.

TripPing is a trip safety utility that helps users create or join trips, send explicit check-ins, manage watcher visibility, and trigger SOS alerts when needed.

Some features depend on device capabilities, permissions, app version, regional availability, connectivity, and third-party platform behavior. We do not guarantee that every feature will be available or perform identically on every device or in every region.

TripPing may require authenticated access to create or join trips and to associate actions with the correct user and trip context.

• Keep your device credentials and sign-in methods protected.
• Use accurate information when joining, creating, or managing a trip.
• Invite only participants or watchers you are authorized to include.
• Understand that trip participation may expose trip-related records, check-ins, or alerts to authorized members according to role permissions.

TripPing includes traveler and watcher flows that rely on user action and shared trip membership.

• Check-ins and SOS events may record location and related timestamps.
• Watchers may receive trip status alerts or view trip-related safety events according to role permissions.
• Optional SOS media features may attach supporting files where the relevant feature is enabled.
• Alert delivery may depend on device settings, notification permissions, app state, network availability, and third-party messaging services.

TripPing is a supplementary safety tool. It does not replace public emergency services, medical care, rescue services, workplace safety systems, or law enforcement.

We do not warrant that a check-in reminder, missed check-in alert, watcher notice, or SOS message will always be sent, received, viewed, or acted upon in time. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services immediately.

You are responsible for reviewing and managing the permissions and device settings required by the features you choose to enable.

• Review and manage permissions such as location, notifications, camera, microphone, and photos.
• Verify that device settings permit the alerts or uploads you want to rely on.
• Check trip details and invited participants before sharing trip data or location context.
• Disable or uninstall the app if you no longer want it to process trip or safety events.

Unless stated otherwise, TripPing may be offered without a separate recurring subscription. However, mobile data charges, messaging charges, roaming charges, or other provider fees may still apply depending on your carrier or device plan.

If TripPing offers paid features, upgrades, or region-specific purchases in your version of the app, pricing, taxes, included functionality, and refund handling will be presented at checkout or through the relevant platform. Platform provider terms may control billing, payment processing, and refunds.

You agree not to:

• Use the app in a way that violates privacy, consumer protection, safety, or communications law.
• Harass, stalk, impersonate, coerce, or unlawfully monitor another person.
• Submit false emergency, trip, support, billing, or legal requests.
• Attempt to bypass feature limits, permissions, access controls, or technical protections.
• Interfere with the app, its support channels, or related infrastructure.

We may suspend, restrict, or stop providing all or part of the app or related support services if we reasonably believe that doing so is necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, technical maintenance, platform requirements, or enforcement of these terms.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it or ceasing to access the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions, will survive.

TripPing, including its software, text, design, branding, graphics, documentation, and related materials, is owned by GlobalHashtag or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal lawful use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the app except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripPing is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or successful in delivering every alert, upload, location event, or safety workflow outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlobalHashtag and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use TripPing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, if we are found liable for any claim arising out of these terms or the app, our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for TripPing in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the law of your place of residence.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GlobalHashtag and its affiliates, personnel, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs arising out of your unlawful use of TripPing, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the contracting GlobalHashtag entity, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us first at support@globalhashtag.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute will be brought in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law, unless another dispute resolution process is required by mandatory law.

We may update the app, remove or add features, revise eligibility rules, or change these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website, the app, Apple, Google Play, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of TripPing after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
