To help us review your request, include the TripPing product name, your device platform, your country or state, and a short description of the issue.

Basic setup checks

  • Sign in first before trying to create or join a trip.
  • Allow notifications if you want trip alerts, missed check-in alerts, or SOS-related notices.
  • Allow location access if you want to use current location, send check-ins, or send SOS.
  • Allow camera access if you want to scan invite QR codes or capture SOS supporting media.
  • Allow microphone or media access only if you want to use optional SOS audio or media features.

Common issues

  • If check-in or SOS does not work, confirm location permission is still granted and location services are enabled on the device.
  • If you cannot join a trip, verify that the invite code is still valid and was entered correctly.
  • If watchers are not receiving alerts, confirm notification permission is enabled on their device.
  • If an SOS media upload fails, the app may still be able to send the SOS location event without supporting media.
  • If alerts are delayed, check device notification settings, network connectivity, and any battery or background restrictions that may affect delivery.

Privacy, deletion, and data requests

If you want to ask for access, correction, deletion, or another privacy-related request, contact support@globalhashtag.com and identify the TripPing product and your country or state where relevant.

  • TripPing uses location for explicit safety-related actions such as current-location checks, check-ins, and SOS.
  • Trip and safety records may remain in service records while the related trip or account data is maintained.
  • Manage device-level permissions in your operating system settings if you want to stop camera, microphone, notification, or location access.
  • Some records may also be subject to third-party platform or provider retention requirements.

Safety and emergency notice

TripPing is a supplementary safety tool. It does not replace public emergency services, medical care, rescue services, or law enforcement.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Support can help review product issues, but it cannot guarantee emergency response or real-time intervention.

Store and platform support

Some issues may depend on Apple, Google Play, device manufacturers, carrier services, or other platform providers. Platform provider terms, permissions, notification handling, and refund rules may also apply.
