Help & FAQ
Set up your mode, understand the countdowns, and get help.
How do I start an alarm?
Choose Motion Alarm or Charger Alarm and allow the required permissions. For Motion Alarm, put your phone down before the preparation countdown ends. For Charger Alarm, connect your charger before turning the mode on.
Can I use all modes at once?
Tazic uses one security mode at a time. Choose the mode that fits what you want to monitor.
Does it prevent every theft?
Tazic can help you notice a detected trigger while a mode is armed. It does not guarantee theft prevention. Alarm behavior depends on permissions, device settings and Android background limits.
What is Unlock Monitor?
Unlock Monitor keeps time-stamped unlock records while the mode is enabled. History can be filtered to successful unlock events. Failed-attempt monitoring depends on supported devices and the required permissions. Optional event photos require Pro, an enabled capture setting, and camera permission.
Is there an iPhone app?
Tazic is available for Android.
How can I get help?
Email tazic@globalhashtag.com. Describe your phone model, Android version and the mode you are using.
Why are there two countdowns?
Motion Alarm starts with a preparation countdown so you can put your phone down. After movement or a charger disconnection is detected, the alarm delay gives you time to stop the alarm before the sound starts. These times can be adjusted in Settings.
What is included in the free version?
The free version includes ads. Pro removes ads. Free keeps the latest 20 history events. Pro is an optional one-time purchase that also removes the history event limit and enables optional event photos.
Are all failed unlock attempts recorded?
Failed-attempt monitoring depends on device support and the required permissions. Events are recorded according to your configured failed-attempt threshold. Photo capture requires Pro, its capture setting, and camera permission.
How do I make a privacy or deletion request?
Email tazic@globalhashtag.com with the request type and the records involved. Do not send app content, PINs, backup keys, passwords, or card details. See the Privacy Policy for retention, verification, and provider limits.
