Basic checks

  • Update the app to the latest version available in your store.
  • Allow notifications if you want reminders to appear reliably.
  • Confirm app lock and biometric settings are enabled if you use device protection features.
  • Sign in to the correct Apple or Google account before using backup or restore features.
  • Use a stable network connection before starting cloud backup or restore.

Common issues

  • If reminders do not appear, confirm notifications are allowed for SettleNote.
  • If app lock does not prompt, confirm lock settings are enabled in the app and supported on your device.
  • If backup or restore fails, verify your platform account access, backup key, and available storage.
  • If Pro features do not appear after purchase, use the in-app restore option first.

Billing

SettleNote Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase managed through Apple or Google billing. If a purchase does not appear right away, use the in-app restore option first.

  • On Android, review your Google Play order history and confirm you are signed in with the purchasing account.
  • On iPhone, review your Apple purchase history and confirm you are signed in with the purchasing account.
  • If the issue continues, contact support and include your store receipt or order information.

Backup and restore

  • SettleNote backups are encrypted before upload.
  • You need the backup key created at backup time to restore the data later.
  • If restore fails, verify the correct backup key, store account, available storage, and network status.
  • If iCloud or Google Drive access is unavailable, recheck the relevant platform account permissions on the device.

Privacy and ads

  • The free version of SettleNote may show limited banner ads on selected in-app surfaces.
  • If your region requires ad consent or privacy choices, a provider or platform-supported notice may be shown where applicable.
  • For deletion, correction, access, objection, or ad-related rights requests, contact support and include your country or state where relevant.
  • For data held by Apple, Google, Google Drive, iCloud, RevenueCat, Firebase, or Google Mobile Ads, you may also need to use the relevant provider controls or request process.
